About
At WLCC, it is our desire that youth develop a love for Jesus Christ that lasts a lifetime. We believe that the Bible contains God’s instruction for Christian living and so we turn to it for all we do and teach. We believe that only God has the answers to the deepest and hardest questions of life, and by helping teens discover their own faith, we equip them to face any challenges life may throw at them. We provide a safe place to connect with other teens, an opportunity to build lasting friendships, and an encouraging environment to discover and grow in their faith in Christ.
Catalyst is designed for students in 6th through 12th grades. Students gather at 7:00pm on Friday nights in the Large Building (Dexter Hall). Please enter the building through the side entrance with the ramp. They are welcomed with music and variety of snacks. The night starts off with an unstructured time of socialization, Ping-pong, Foosball, Air Hockey, board and card games and other games. We typically start up a structured game or activity which encourages everyone to interact and helps to foster relationships in a fun and encouraging environment. No athletic skills are necessary! Then we sit back and relax as we listen to a message about the Good News of Christ and how He is calling us to live for Him. All students are welcome!!
