Ray McDaid comes to us with over 25 years of pastoral experience. Ray grew up on the North Shore of MA. where he met and married his wife Julie of over 30 years. The McDaids have four children, as well as four grandchildren. Ray spent a number of years in his early twenties and thirties as a successful general contractor before realizing his call to ministry. He received his Master of Divinity degree in 2003 from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in Hamilton MA. and has served on pastoral staff in a number of churches in MA, and NH. Ray also served as a Director of Recovery Solutions with a NH based recovery coalition where he was instrumental in establishing a men’s recovery home and developing a unique Christian based Twelve Step ministry.
Brendan Prout came to WLCC in December, 2014 as a pianist and organist. Brendan presently serves as our Worship Director overseeing both the traditional worship as well as the contemporary worship team. Brendan lives in Ludlow, MA with his wife, Rebecca, and two children, Arianna and Aidan.
Brendan received formal training throughout his high school years before graduating Boston College with a major in music and a minor in education. He has continued onto graduate studies in Music Education at New York University. Brendan actively teaches individual piano lessons to students from Springfield to Hartford.
We are truly fortunate to be able to share in Brendan’s joy of musical worship. We all look forward to his continued ministry of honoring the Lord through music at WLCC.
